Deep ruby red colour, important aroma with balsamic notes enveloping myrtles, licorice, black cherries and sweet spices. In the mouth it is rich, velvety, with a good and moderate tannic structure. Full and persistent palate with a complex and mineral finish.
This wine pairs well with important traditional dishes, stuffed pasta seasoned with fine tomato sauces, stewed and roasted meat, and it can enhance a ''marriage'' between home-baked bread in wood oven and grilled local cheese.
